The original SIGA AGM batteries operate completely without liquid acid. The highly absorbent microporous separator of the maintenance-free and sealed AGM series binds a maximum amount of pure electrolyte and permanently isolates the electrodes from each other. This allows the battery to be operated in any position, even upside down, without loss of capacity.

In case of overcharging or incorrect charging method, the batteries are equipped with the VRLA safety system. It also protects against increased overpressure.

The robust housing material is a shock- and break-resistant as well as corrosion- and aging-resistant ABS plastic. Design service life of at least 10 years.
