The original SIGA AGM batteries contain no liquid acid. The highly absorbent microporous separator in the maintenance-free, sealed AGM series binds a maximum amount of pure electrolyte and permanently insulates the electrodes from each other. This allows the battery to be operated in any position, even upside down, without loss of capacity.

In the event of overcharging or an incorrect charging method, the batteries are equipped with the VRLA safety system. It also protects against excessive pressure.

The robust casing material is impact- and fracture-resistant, as well as corrosion- and aging-resistant ABS plastic. Designed service life of at least 10 years.
