The original SIGA AGM batteries do not require any liquid acid. The highly absorbent microporous separator of the maintenance-free and sealed AGM series binds a maximum amount of pure electrolyte and permanently isolates the electrodes from each other. This means that the battery can be operated in any position, even upside down, without loss of capacity.

In the event of overcharging or incorrect charging, the batteries are equipped with the VRLA safety system. It also protects against increased overpressure.

The robust housing material is an impact- and break-resistant as well as corrosion- and ageing-resistant ABS plastic. Structural service life of at least 10 years.
