Our current shipping prices will be shown to you individually based on your order during the checkout process.

 

Delivery to Non-Selectable Countries

If you wish to ship to a country not available in the shop, please send us an email (service@laka-tools.de) and provide the item, quantity, delivery address including country and postal code. We will promptly inform you whether we can ship to the desired country and, if applicable, provide the shipping costs. In this case, we will inquire about the shipping options and costs in advance with our shipping partner.


Shipping to the USA

We are pleased to deliver our products directly to the USA! To ensure a smooth and transparent shipping process, all deliveries to the United States are made via UPS under the terms FCA (Free Carrier).

What does FCA mean for you?

FCA means that we carefully package your order and hand it over to our shipping partner UPS at our warehouse. At the point of handover, the risk for transport passes to you. UPS then safely transports the package across the ocean directly to your home.

Customs, Fees, and Taxes (The $800 Rule)

Since you are officially importing the goods into the USA, your order may be subject to local import regulations depending on the total value:

  • Orders under $800: Good news! In most cases, shipments with a total value under $800 incur no customs duties or taxes (De Minimis rule). Your package will be delivered directly to your door without further steps.

  • Orders over $800: If your order exceeds $800, US customs will charge import duties and taxes.

The process after purchase:

  1. Tracking: Once UPS has taken over your package, you will receive a tracking link via email.

  2. Customs clearance (if > $800): If fees apply, UPS acts as your customs broker. UPS will contact you directly by email or SMS and send you a secure link for online payment of import fees.

  3. Delivery: After payment of fees (or if your order was under $800), UPS will deliver the package to your address.

Please note: Any import duties, local taxes, or handling fees charged by the shipping service provider (brokerage fees) for orders over $800 are the sole responsibility of the recipient and cannot be refunded by us.
