Professionals who remove dents work either with levers from the backside or with glue tabs and slide hammers from the outside. In the PDR tool category, you’ll find the complete range for both techniques: levers in the WDG system and fixed designs, slide hammers, glue tabs, dent lifters, attachments, and matching sets. PDR stands for Paintless Dent Repair, the paint-damage-free method that lets you remove dents from the metal without repainting.

We organize our PDR tools by technique, not by item numbers. This way, you can quickly find exactly what you need for your specific job.

Push Technique with Levers

Most dents can be pushed out from behind if you can reach the spot. For this, we offer over a hundred dent levers in the WDG system with interchangeable rotating handles, as well as classic fixed levers. The WDG system (interchangeable rotating handle) allows you to combine a lever shaft with different handles, giving you flexibility depending on your working position.

Additionally, you’ll find carbon tools for long lever paths and small straightening hook sets for fine corrections. A complete overview of all lever variants is available in the Dent Lever category.

Glue Tab Technique with Slide Hammer and Adapters

If you can’t access the backside of the dent, the glue tab technique takes over. A glue tab is applied to the paint, which you then use to pull the dent outward. We offer several slide hammers in different weight classes, from the one-handed premium slide hammer to the Dent Slayer AR-9.

The matching glue tabs come in many sizes, shapes, and hardness levels. Death-Center adapters, Blackplague variants, and the LAKA glue tab system cover all standard applications. We also carry dent lifters and pull bridges for larger damage areas. For those who want to get started completely, there’s the PDR Starter Set or the glue tab technique set. An overview of all glue tab technique components can be found in the Glue Tab Technique category.

Dent Lifters, Attachments, and Dent Hammers for the Finishing Touch

For the finish after the actual pushing or pulling work, dent lifters and dent hammers are used. With these, you work on high spots—areas where the metal has been pushed beyond the original level. The attachments for dent lifters and hammers come in various hardness levels and shapes so you can precisely control the impact.

Choosing the right material is crucial for the result. An attachment that deforms after extended use no longer delivers a clean strike and ultimately costs you accuracy.

PDR Tool Sets and Tool Carts

Whether you’re starting from scratch or adding to an existing setup, we offer preconfigured tool sets. The PDR Tool Station is the complete solution with everything needed for a workshop station. We also carry smaller starter sets and modular tool stations that you can attach your existing tools to.

If you only need the carrier system, check out the Tool Cart category. Sets and carts are designed to stay right at the workstation.

Lighting for Dent Visibility

Dent removal only works if you can see the dent. That’s why every PDR setup includes a lamp with a line grid that makes the dent’s shadow play visible. These lamps are found in the separate Dent Light category, as they form their own range with tripod variants, portable lights, and lamp holders. In the PDR tool category, we focus on the tools for the actual work.

Frequently Asked Questions

You use the lever pushing technique when you can reach the back of the dent. The glue pulling method with a slide hammer and adapter is used when the back is not accessible, for example with double-walled body parts or in the roof area.

That depends on your level. If you're just starting out, a PDR Starter Set or a PDR Tool Station makes sense because it covers all the basic tools at once. If you already have tools, you can selectively add individual levers, adapters, or attachments.

PDR stands for Paintless Dent Repair, which means dent repair without damaging the paint. PDR tools include all tools used to remove dents from sheet metal without harming the paint. These include levers, slide hammers, glue tabs, dent lifters, dent hammers, as well as sets and tool carts.

PDR tools specifically refer to tools for paintless dent repair: levers, glue techniques, dent lifters. The German term "Ausbeulwerkzeug" is a broader category that also includes traditional bodywork dent repair followed by painting. Professionals who work without damaging the paint usually look for PDR tools. Tools and devices that go beyond the paintless method, such as dent spotters and induction devices, can be found along with the core range in our dent repair tools category.
