The MIDIAR adhesive system or dent removal tool/pull hammer with cold glue Colafria 150g and 6 screwable adapters (now also for hot glue) for removing dents with and without painting as a dent tool.

The pull hammer or slide hammer with cold adhesive Cola Fria is suitable for removing large and small dents, such as those caused by hail damage, parking bumps, vandalism or transport damage.

The pull hammer with cold glue is intended for professional use by people who are involved in car repairs. It is mainly used for car sheet metal; for SUVs or mobile homes, a large pull hammer is suitable due to the thicker sheet metal, as this allows more impact force to be generated.

Application principle:
When using for the first time, the previously degreased adapter (e.g. with silicone remover, spirit or brake cleaner) Cold glue applied.

The application temperature should be between 18 and 25 C. At low temperatures, you can use a hair dryer to heat the surface to be treated or the cold glue, which you can also knead until it becomes soft and sticks properly to your hands.

It is recommended to heat the degreased adapter with a hair dryer before applying the cold glue to the adapter so that the glue adheres better after cooling.

How is the Cola Fria adhesive system used?

The pull hammer or slide hammer is ideally used in combination with other dent removal tools.

Before use, the surface to be treated should be degreased (e.g. with silicone remover, spirit or brake cleaner), clean and dry.

A silicone remover for cleaning or degreasing is included in the scope of delivery (as a bonus, while stocks last).

Then you glue the adapter onto the dent with the cold glue and use pressure and lateral movements to achieve a better bond. If you let the cold glue rest on the surface for about 1 - 2 minutes, it will stick even better.

(The paint may be torn off on repainted or filled areas. Please check beforehand.)

It is recommended not to pull the hammer to build up tension, but to hit directly with the movable weight part of the hammer.

When working with cold glue, it is recommended to remove the rubber dampening part, which is installed above the striking part, in order to be able to strike more sharply.
Since this is a universal hammer (also for working with hot glue), we deliver it with this built-in dampening part.

When the dent repair is finished and the adhesive is still stuck to the panel, peel it off by grasping it close to the panel and then slowly peeling it off.

The remaining mass is simply picked off with the cold glue.

If the dent has not been completely removed, remove the rest of the dent with another pressing tool, such as a straightening hook or hot glue system, or another dent removal tool in combination to achieve a faster result.

The adhesive system is mainly used for larger parking dents, but it can also be used for small, soft dents, including hail damage.

The cold bonding system is not designed for use on damaged edges or struts; you can try using hot glue in such places. However, if you use hot glue, the paint may come off and it will then have to be repainted.

Compared to the hot glue system, the cold glue works much more softly, over a larger area and is more elastic, so that the paint does not tear off. In addition, the edges of the dent are pulled back to their original shape more easily.
