Paint layer testing device
The paint layer thickness gauge measures the paint thickness, just like its predecessors , on both iron and aluminum car bodies.
Improvements compared to previous models:
• The MD 666 paint thickness measuring device measures faster than all of the coating thickness measuring devices that we developed in Stuttgart.
• A louder beep signals the end of the measurement process.
• Self-calibration by clicking on the reset button enables precise measurement of the differences in paint thickness without the device having to be calibrated.
• Automatic calibration of the paint layer thickness gauge simplifies the calibration procedure and is used for more precise measurements, e.g. for reports or to check the accuracy of the device with the calibration film with a standard thickness of 102 micrometers (which corresponds to the average car paint thickness).
• The rubber protective cover protects the device from dust and shock.
• The hand strap prevents the device from falling.
• The LED and display lighting make it possible to work in dark environments.
• The UV light can be used to check the security features on documents or banknotes.
The device is recommended for car purchases by certified experts.
